One of the country’s sought after speakers on the political circuit, Burnett believed he could turn Palin into the next Oprah, offering to produce a daytime TV talk show hosted by the conservative icon herself.Burnett, best known for his success in the reality TV show genre with hit series "Survivor," "The Apprentice," and "The Voice," has also produced several award shows, including the annual “People’s Choice Awards” and the 2011 “Primetime Emmy Awards.” Mark Burnett and his wife, actress Roma Downey, produced "The Bible," a 10 hour History Channel drama based upon stories of the Bible. "The Bible" has become the number 1 new series on cable TV this year and has been seen by more than 100 million viewers worldwide.
But so far, Palin has said no — though the deal is not completely dead, say insiders.
The sticking points have been over location and money, people familiar with the deal say. Burnett has insisted that Palin do the show from either New York or Los Angeles, which would require her to move for a significant portion of the year from her residence in Alaska where she lives with husband Todd.

Asked to comment about the offer, Palin told Newsmax via email: "Todd and I have always loved working with Mark Burnett, and our family is always up for adventure, so never say never."
Burnett’s office declined to comment on the matter.
Burnett's production company produced a reality series hosted by Governor Palin, "Sarah Palin's Alaska," which aired on TLC in the 2010-11 season, and the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate was also a guest co-host of the Today Show in April of 2012.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department secretly obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative´s top executive called a "massive and unprecedented intrusion" into how news organizations gather the news.The records obtained by the Justice Department listed incoming and outgoing calls, and the duration of each call, for the work and personal phone numbers of individual reporters, general AP office numbers in New York, Washington and Hartford, Conn., and the main number for AP reporters in the House of Representatives press gallery, according to attorneys for the AP.In all, the government seized those records for more than 20 separate telephone lines assigned to AP and its journalists in April and May of 2012.

If you are a Conservative, you may have gotten a few e-mails from a Washington, D.C. based group called the Tea Party Leadership Fund. These letters will be signed by a man named Todd Cefaratti. The letter states they are looking to "Draft Sarah Palin" into making a run at Alaska´s Senate seat in 2014, a seat now held by democrat Mark Begich. This of course has caused quite a stir, and unfortunately many have sent their hard earned money to this crew.

It appears Michele Nunn will announce next week that she’s a candidate for the United States Senate for the Democrats in Georgia. Mike Berlon, Chairman of the Georgia Democrat Party, says he wants a clear or “near clear” primary. President Obama went after Republicans for creating a political "sideshow" by continuing to accuse his administration of intentionally altering the Benghazi talking points in order to remove references to terrorism.
Obama argued that he was talking about terrorism in the days after the attack and acknowledged it was an act of terrorism the next day.

How Mark Levin Led Fight Against IRS
When accusations first emerged in 2010 that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) had targeted conservative and Tea Party groups for additional scrutiny, it was unclear how widespread the problem was, or how to respond. It took the efforts of Mark Levin´s Landmark Legal Foundation to find a strategy that would yield answers. Levin, who is also one of the most popular conservative talk radio hosts in the nation, decided to approach the Inspector General of the U.S. Treasury rather than the IRS itself, which is typically opaque in its responses.
