Liberal blogger Markos Moulitsas commissioned a poll that produced some very interesting findings, such as the fact that Republicans believe Governor Palin is more qualified to be Commander-in-Chief than President Obama.

Actually, that portion of the poll shouldn't come as a surprise, for if we put her record and executive experience up against his, she clearly comes out well ahead. In addition, she possesses the common sense necessary to get this nation back on the right track, something which seems to be severely lacking in the current Obama administration.

A non-partisan Research 2000 survey of 2,000 Republicans has found that a majority believe Sarah Palin is more qualified to be president than Barack Obama and that nearly two in three believe Mr. Obama is a socialist.

As for Palin, 53 percent say she is more qualified for the presidency than Mr. Obama, while 14 percent say she is not. One in three aren't sure.

The survey also deals with areas such as racism, ACORN, abortion, sex education, and faith.
